ORDER:-
The following notification will be
published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (2) of section 25 read with section 8(j) of the Andhra Pradesh Public Libraries Act. 1960. The
Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following rules for the creation of
posts required in the office of the Zilla Grandhalaya samsthas. And in the Public
libraries established or maintained by the Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas.
2.
The rules hereby made shall be
deemed to have come into 18th January. 1969.
RULES.
1. The Director may, either on application
bny a Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha or suo moto, create the posts, mentioned in the
Annexure to these Rules, for the offices of the Zilla Grandhalaya Sasmsthas and
the Public Libraries established or maintained by the Zilla Grandhalaya
Samsthas, on such terms and conditions as he may deem fit. The Director shall take into consideration
the need for the creation of the post and also the financial position of the
Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas.
2 All the charges for the establishment
so created shall be met from the Library Fund maintained under sub-section (1)
of section 21 of the Andhra Pradesh Public Libraries Act, 1960.
3. The Director may, either on application
by the Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha or suo moto, abolish or transfer to another
Library within the jurisdiction of the Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha.
4. The posts sanctioned under rule 1 may
be either permanent or temporary, as may be decided by the Director. Provided that no post shall ordinarily be
retained on a permanent basis unless it has been in existence for a period of
not less than three years and the approval of the Director has been obtained.
5. The Director shall maintain a register
showing the posts created for the Offices of the Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha and
for the Libraries established of maintained by the Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas.
