ORDER:

In the reference 1

payment of remuneration of Rs.2,080/- to the part time workers.

2. In the reference 2

Libraries has submitted proposals for enhancement of remuneration to the

part time workers, who are working in the Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas/City

Grandhalaya Samstha from Rs.2080/- to Rs.3900/- on par with the

remuneration paid to the outsourcing personnel working in the Category of

Library Helpers and to accord permission to enhance their remuneration

from time to time on par with the outsourcing employees in the Category of

Library Helpers whenever remuneration of outsourcing employees is

enhanced.

3. The Director of Public Libraries further stated that the

remuneration paid to the part time workers is being met from the Cess

funds of respective City/Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas which are local bodies.

4. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby

order for enhancement of remuneration to the Casual Labour/part time

workers in Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas/City Grandhalaya Samstha from

Rs.2080/- to Rs.3900/- on par with the remuneration paid to the

outsourcing personnel working in the Category of Library Helpers and

permission is accorded to enhance their remuneration from time to time on

par with the outsourcing employees in the Category of Library Helpers

whenever remuneration of outsourcing employees is enhanced, subject to

meeting the expenditure from the funds of City/Zilla Grandhalaya

Samsthas.

5. The Director of Public Libraries is requested to take necessary

action accordingly. The above instructions shall be in force with immediate

effect.
